I have always loved celebrating birthdays. I embrace each and every year. I have never shied away from aging. I love each stage of my life. Every year brings new adventures and new growth.

I have been fortunate throughout my life. I have met the most amazing people, most who have encouraged me to learn and stretch my imagination. I believe I have had more encouragement than most and more people who have stopped what they were doing to help me.

Aging gracefully has been easier because as all of those amazing people who have come into my life. But it also has a lot to do with the peace I have in my life. I look forward to each year, but I also live each day with a consciousness that always keeps me aware of how precious each and every day truly is.

I look forward to the time when I am old and feeble, but I will also fight to hang on to every day before that happens.
