Little girls are to be protected. They are to be saved from harm. The harm men would subject any little girl to, except in most cases, their very own little girl. Even that’s not true everywhere, though it should be. Save and protect each and every little girl. Let her grow up to be playful, not suspicious of what harm may be waiting for her at the hand of an unfortunate man.
Parents are meant to protect their offspring especially little girls. It’s not enough to simply say “I tried!”. But how can it be said? How can we share the concern with our little girls and save their spirit of adventure? Nurture their curiosity? Hold them precious, yet leave them to discover the wonderment of life and its generation of new new beginnings?
Save them for the man who will continue that nurturing love and protection, who should be the one to introduce the little girl to the tenderness of sharing oneself. Then as we all understand it to be, we would all have our virtue intact, even as we become women, prepared to have our own little girls to protect and be prepared to protect their virtue.
